Commercial
Design
Whether you are a new customer or are renovating or reconfiguring a space, a print of the project is required for permits with the state fire marshal’s office. We then use knowledge gained during our site visit in conjunction with the print to design a fire alarm system according to the Vermont and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes.
Installation
The first step of the installation process is the walk through. This is done with the home owner, builder, property management company, and provides our staff with the opportunity to answer any questions the customer may have. Because each job is different, we discuss the process and offer suggestions based on the property in question and the customers specific needs. After our visit, we create a proposal for the customer to review. Most of our equipment is already in stock and so, pending any outstanding equipment needs, we schedule an installation. Installations typically takes a day for residential, and commercial will vary on the project.
In the interest of addressing your security needs in a timely manner, we strive to provide fast turn around between our initial site visit and installation.
Monitoring
Commercial-fire alarm monitoring, by code, is required to call a UL monitoring company daily. If the client is in a town/city that has a Gamewell or Master Radio Call Box system, this may be required instead.
Residential
Design
Home security systems are typically comprised of door contacts, motion detectors, smoke and heat detection, even environmental sensors low temp sensors, water sensors. However, this is just a few examples of the technologies we offer. Ultimately, it is our goal to incorporate this technology into your home as seamlessly, effectively, and efficiently as possible. In order to accomplish this, designing a security system custom designed for your home begins with a site visit. Once we have learned more about your residence both first hand and through blue prints, we work with you to schedule a time for one of our technicians to incorporate the system we have developed for your property.

Monitoring
The majority of maintenance for our Fire Alarm systems is accomplished during our Annual Inspection.
Residential-security and fire Alarm systems are monitored weekly. However, depending on the needs of the client, we can monitor as frequently as they like. Residential monitoring can be as basic as needed in order to notify us when you are in trouble or when an alarm occurs.
It is also possible to implement an interactive system that allows home automation and energy management. This includes remotely arming/disarming, lock/unlock doors, checking the status of the system, turning lights on/off and small appliances and even adjusting thermostats.
Our customers can conserve energy by schedule when lights and thermostats turn on/off. We provide emails and/or mobile notifications when certain activities happen, whether it’s knowing that the kids are home safe after school or making sure your employees remembered to arm the store.
